afro.sale is a members-only B2B marketplace connecting verified businesses across Africa. This notice explains what personal and company data we collect, why, and what rights you have.
To verify membership applications, operate the member directory and messaging, prevent fraud and impersonation, comply with legal obligations (including sanctions and anti-money-laundering checks for regulated categories), and improve the platform.
Your member profile is visible only to other verified members. Verification documents are never shown to other members — they are reviewed only by our verification team and retained securely. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Verification documents are kept for the duration of membership plus the period required by applicable law. Rejected applications are deleted within 12 months unless fraud was detected.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may withdraw your application at any time. Send requests to contact@afro.sale; membership and verification queries can be sent to members@afro.sale. Depending on your country, additional rights may apply under regulations such as the GDPR, Nigeria's NDPA, Kenya's Data Protection Act, Egypt's PDPL or South Africa's POPIA.
